The awards ceremony for the best campsite establishments, a new feature of the gala dinner
Several French groups, attracted by the Spanish tourist market, will attend the show to make purchases for the remodelling of the campsites they are acquiring in the country.
The organisers anticipate that Innocamping 2023 will be the most international edition in the ten years of the show’s existence. Innocamping (National Professional Show of Services and Equipment for Campsites, Tourist Accommodation and Sports and Leisure Companies) will welcome several French groups interested in the offer of the Lleida fair. These groups, attracted by the Spanish tourist market, will be present at Innocamping to make purchases for the remodelling of the campsites they are acquiring in the country. The fifth edition of Innocamping will take place from 17 to 19 October – in conjunction with the Municipalia show – and is consolidating its position as a benchmark event for professionals from the world of camping from all over the country.
In addition to the exhibition sector, Innocamping will host the traditional Gala Dinner, which will bring together representatives of the public administration and major businesspeople from the tourism sector, as well as authorities from the Catalan Tourism Agency and the Government of Catalonia, and the presidents of most of the hotel and catering associations and federations in Catalonia and Spain. During the meeting, two people with outstanding careers in the field of campsites will be honoured, and prizes will be awarded to the best campsite establishments in each category. These awards, which are one of the main new features this year, will be presented by the companies sponsoring the gala dinner.
Moreover, this year’s edition will see an increase in the participation of Lleida-based companies, such as Grupo Rull and Congelats Borràs, among others. These companies will be giving cooking demonstrations so that visitors can try out top-of-the-range products to make the work of campsite restaurateurs easier, to better meet the high demand of tourists this summer. The aim is to highlight the value of efficient systems in kitchens that help campsite workers to speed up their gastronomic work, improve the sustainability of the establishments and boost energy savings, thus optimising the operating accounts of the catering departments.
The fair will also be the setting for the Innocamping Technical Conference, which this year will focus on “Campsites and the environment, how to face the challenge of climate change”. There will be two days of sessions, on 18 and 19 October, which will take place from 9.30 am to 2 pm. The conference will also include a workshop, with stands from companies supplying the sector.
Innocamping has become a benchmark meeting point for camping professionals from all over the country, both for the variety of equipment on offer and for the fact that the show is a forum for monitoring the evolution of the market in the short and medium term.
The 6th edition of Innocamping (National Professional Exhibition of Services and Equipment for Campsites, Tourist Accommodation and Sports and Leisure Companies) will take place from 17 to 19 October at the Fira de Lleida exhibition centre, in parallel with the 22nd edition of Municipalia (International Municipal Equipment and Services Trade Fair).
